Hi, I’m Donna Baer
For thirty years I homeschooled my children Kindergarten through 12th grade, and I'm grateful for the journey. I write about raising my kids in Strong Happy Family: Unexpected Advice from an Ivy League Mother of Ten. There's more of my biography here.
When I started homeschooling I made a lot of rookie errors. Most homeschoolers do. Those mistakes were a disservice to my kids and they exhausted me. After many years of hard toil I learned how to homeschool so that my children were excited to learn--and I was happy.
With this course you'll bypass all the beginners' mistakes that lead to frustration and failure, and you'll get straight to creating a peaceful homeschool full of curiosity and excellence--and even eventual acceptance to an elite college.
THIS COURSE DELIVERS RESULTS!
Here's what enrolled students have said:
This course was well done and very helpful. Donna’s emphasis on what is most necessary for students to learn (those four things students need to know by the end of 6th grade) as well as her continued encouragement that it’s not a race was just what I felt I needed to know as a parent and educator. I also really appreciated her stating that keeping and fostering our children’s love of learning is a key aspect of their education. Thank you for this course!

It really did ease my anxiety to hear you boil everything down to just a few, albeit big, basic things. There is so much thrown at us these days that even as a state certified teacher it can be hard to remain focused on the end objectives. Your course made me feel like “yeah, I CAN do this!”
